The award was presented by the Ontario Centre of Innovation (OCI) at its Annual General Meeting in Toronto on October 20, 2026. It is voted on by the people of Ontario, which makes this recognition especially meaningful to our team. Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote.
Waël is a thoracic surgeon, and his work has always started with the patient. NodeAI was built on a simple belief that every person facing lung cancer deserves an accurate diagnosis, a clear path to treatment, and real hope. This award belongs to the patients and clinicians who inspire that work every day.
